Counseling
The Center for Children and Families opened its Clinton, Mississippi clinic in 2018 to provide hope and access to counseling and family therapy services for children and families in the Central Mississippi region.
IN-HOME COUNSELING SERVICES
We proudly offer evidenced-based, in-home counseling services for children and families facing difficulties who are referred for counseling services by a local school, healthcare provider, court, medical professional, state agency, or law enforcement professional.
We take referrals for in-home counseling services and serve Copiah, Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson, Warren, and Yazoo counties.

Our Providers
Shelley Jones, LPC, NCC
Clinical Director | Counselor
Shelley has a wide range of experience working with juveniles in the correctional system, addictions and rehabilitation, and children and families with system involvement. She understands current issues and tries to help clients come to an understanding of their own situations. As a client begins the process of understanding, the larger context is used to explore possible resources in an effort to help solve problems. Shelley's objective for counseling is to empower clients to access and utilize their resources. As clients begin to feel confident and access their resources, they will feel more secure in the personal decision-making process, which will lead them to their therapeutic goal(s).
