Kalaishi has over 4 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She utilizes Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and more. Kalaishi counsels children and their families, helping them overcome their personal, relational, emotional, and behavioral issues.

Education/Training/Certifications:

Kalaishi is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Jackson, MS.

She has her certification in Sand Tray Therapy for beginners and is working towards an EMDR certification.

Kalaishi is informed in Play Therapy as well as Trauma-informed care.

Ages & Issues Treated:

Kalaishi works with children (3 and up), teens, and families. She treats a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, racial trauma, relationship conflict and challenges adjustment/transition, marriage/family dynamics, PTSD, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, and more.

Goals & Vision for Therapy:

Kalaishi's goal is to help clients feel heard, seen, safe, valued, and supported as they cope with changes and traumas in life. She seeks to assist them with developing skills that will not only help them with present situations, but with situations they may encounter in the future also.

Kalaishi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, binge-watching a good show, getting massages, and playing various types of card games, board games, or video games.
