COUNSELING

Our expert counseling services can help you and your loved ones navigate life's challenges with care and understanding.

Counseling can help with:

We work with children, teens, and families using proven, trauma-informed approaches, including:

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps children and teens overcome the impact of trauma.

  • Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI): a nurturing, connection-centered approach designed for children who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): a specialized therapy (offered in limited availability) that helps individuals heal from disturbing life experiences or trauma.

The Center for Children & Families Shreveport Office opened in 2015 in order to help children and families in the Northwest Louisiana region have access to counseling and family therapy services.
