Hosted at the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum

The Center for Children & Families, in partnership with the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum, invites families to a special evening designed to strengthen connections between parents and children. This fun and educational event offers parents practical tools while kids enjoy a night of Halloween-themed excitement!

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum (323 Walnut St, Monroe, LA 71201)
Cost: FREE- but space is limited to the first 75 families!

What to Expect

Connected Parenting Training for Caregivers
Led by Dr. Emily Jones, Clinical Director at The Center for Children & Families, this session will help parents better understand how stress and difficult experiences impact their child’s brain, body, and behavior—and how caregivers can respond in ways that strengthen connection.

Spooktacular Fun for Kids
While parents attend the workshop, children will enjoy their own evening inside the Children’s Museum, complete with:

  • STEM activities

  • Festive Halloween games

  • Frightfully fun celebrations

  • Costumes encouraged!
