The Center for Children & Families began as a tiny one-room office, and has grown into a nationally recognized non-profit agency that stands as a beacon of hope. Annually, we serve over 4,000 children and families, providing essential support through advocacy, counseling, education, and prevention, to help them overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

We exist to promote safe, healthy environments that serve children and families through our programs.
Our Programs
Brokers of Hope provides hope to families with children and help them receive basic needs, life skills training, family advocacy, and connection to counseling services.
The Children's Advocacy Center of NELA serves child victims of abuse, trafficking, and crisis-related trauma. They also offer free trainings on how to identify, report, and prevent child abuse and human trafficking.
Counseling services offer unique support for each child and family. Whether at their home or in our clinic, our dedicated team of counselors offer innovative treatment to support mental well-being for each individual.
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Northeast Louisiana (CASA of NELA) recruits and coordinates volunteers to become CASAs for children in foster care. CASAs advocate for these children, providing stability, support, and helping to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children.
Family Support & Youth Transition program focuses on education and planning, for prevention of out-of-home placement in addition to post-release struggles encountered by youth released from juvenile incarceration.
The Hope Center offers in-clinic counseling services, as well as evaluation and treatment plans for children with mental and behavioral health needs. Our providers work collaboratively to meet each client's specific needs.
