Ashton Barker brings seven years of experience working with children (ages 10+), teens, adults, couples, and families across a variety of life challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Ashton holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at ULM. She utilizes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients build on their strengths and develop practical coping skills. Ashton is especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples through infertility and pregnancy loss, offering deep empathy and understanding through her own lived experience. Her approach is compassionate, client-centered, and rooted in helping others find healing, hope, and fulfillment.

Education/Training/Certifications:

Ashton holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at ULM.

Ashton works with individuals, couples, families, children (ages 10 and up), and teens, providing compassionate support across life stages and circumstances.

She works with a wide range of concerns, including: stress, anxiety, depression, infertility and pregnancy loss, relationship conflict, life transitions, marriage and family dynamics, divorce and co-parenting, PTSD, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, and more.
