Brittney believes when humans experience trauma, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Her passion is bringing healing to people who have experienced trauma. She helps her clients, who include children, adults, and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves.
Education/Training/Certifications:
Britney has her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is also a state supervisor.
She is trained in the following:
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR)
- Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Ages & Issues Treated:
Brittney works with children ages six and up, teens, families, and individuals.
She draws from her own life experience as well as her training to treat issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, grief, parenting, trauma, anger, abuse/neglect, and relationships.

Brittney believes in empowering her clients to take the steps to healing, growth, and change. She seeks to build strong relationships with her clients and to foster an environment where safety and trust are built and healing can begin.
