Our Goal: A Meal for Every Family
For many families, Christmas brings the joy of gathering around the table for a special holiday meal. But for others, this season can be filled with uncertainty about whether they can put food on the table, let alone a festive spread.
This Christmas, our goal is to prepare and distribute boxes filled with essential, everyday pantry staples that families need to sustain themselves through the season. Items like canned vegetables, dry goods, and meal staples will be collected to ensure no family in our services goes without basic necessities.

By shopping our wish lists and having items directly shipped to our Brokers of Hope office or making a financial donation, you can help us fill these boxes and bring much-needed relief to struggling families in our Brokers of Hope services.

Brokers of Hope is a program of The Center for Children & Families that is dedicated to providing hope and support to families in Union Parish, Louisiana. Our team of family advocates work to identify concrete needs, develop an individualized plan of action, and connect families to resources available to them, while also teaching them important life skills. Children with higher-risk mental health issues are also connected with high-quality counseling at no cost to the family.
