  • Sponsor a child's specific wish list
  • Collect/Donate new toys or clothing items
  • Give financially by texting STANDFORHOPE to 53555 or donate at www.standforhope.org/give.

It costs approximately $100-$150 per child, depending on their age. We ask that sponsors provide at least one full clothing outfit and at least one toy from their wish list. Children are asked to list gifts with a less than $50 value. We serve children in need ages 0-17 and sponsors may request a certain age group.

Sponsored gifts are delivered to The Center office on Wednesday, December 3rd.

It is empowering for the caregiver to wrap the gifts for the children, so we ask for gifts to be unwrapped. If you would like to include wrapping for the family, you are welcome to do so, but it is not required.

No. Due to confidentiality, we cannot have community members deliver gifts to the family. However, your group could volunteer with other aspects of The Christmas Project. Email christmas@standforhope.org for more information with subject: Christmas Project Volunteer.

We ask for no gift cards because we want the child or teenager to experience the joy in an actual item rather than money to spend. Some exceptions for teens would be a gift card to a video game store, Bath & Body Works, and Ulta. No iTunes, Amazon, Visa, Walmart, etc.

Yes! Your business or community group is welcome to host a new toys, new gifts, or new clothing collection for The Christmas Project. We ask that collections be brought to our office by Wednesday, December 4th, so they have time to make it to families for Christmas.

Gifts for boys and teens age 13-17 are the most challenging. Great teen gifts could be headphones, wallets, speakers, body care, make up/nail polish, card/board games, cross body bags and of course sports balls and dolls.

Yes! Monetary donations are impactful all year long. Becoming a monthly donor for just $30 a month can provide trauma-informed materials and therapy sessions for a child who has experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma. You can also volunteer to be a CASA for a child in foster care. Visit standforhope.org to learn more.

Don't have time to shop? No worries! Donations can easily be made to help a child this Christmas.
