A Day of Joy, Support, and Connection
Join us for a special afternoon dedicated to celebrating the amazing foster families in Northeast Louisiana! Together We Thrive is a private, invite-only event that brings foster parents and children together for a day of fun, connection, and support.

What to expect
For the Kids (ages 2 – 18):
- Fun Games & Activities: Explore hands-on exhibits, play games, and enjoy engaging activities at the museum designed to entertain and inspire kids of all ages.
- Interactive Play Zones: Kids will have the opportunity to make new friends and create lasting memories in a vibrant and safe environment.
- Snacks: Enjoy popcorn and water as you explore the museum.
For the Parents:
- Parent Workshop: While the kids are having fun, foster parents can participate in a brief workshop presented by licensed professional counselors from The Center. This workshop is designed to help strengthen connections with children from difficult backgrounds. Learn practical strategies for bonding with children who have experienced trauma and gain insights into how to nurture healing in the home.
For the Whole Family:
- Family Bonding Time: Enjoy time together as a family in an atmosphere of fun and relaxation, celebrating the unique and important role that foster families play in the community.
